What is FIRST® LEGO® League?
FIRST® LEGO® League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children ages 4-16 through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Participants gain real-world problem solving experience through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together.
Our three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.
This playful STEM introductory program rekindles young students' natural curiosity and builds their learning habits with hands-on activities in the classroom and at home using LEGO® DUPLO® bricks.
At FLL Explore, groups of students ages 6-10 focus on the basics of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design, program and create unique LEGO brick-built solutions, powered by LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0. Each group consists of 6 members.
Friendly competition is at the heart of the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge, as groups of 9-16 year olds research, solve, code and engineer - build and program a LEGO robot to navigate the missions of a robotic toy. Each group consists of 6 members.
